Henry James - Managing Director

HENRY JAMES - MANAGING DIRECTOR

 

Henry is the third generation to be involved in the Battery Industry. Having worked for three separate battery companies before, during and now after completing his university degree in Business Management, he has developed a vast knowledge of the product and the market. A young and enthusiastic individual, he is happy to take on any challenge and help with any query.

 

 

COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR

 

Paul Anderson - Commercial Director

PAUL ANDERSON - COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR

 

Paul is responsible for all aspects of the Company but takes primary responsibility for the Sales team by ensuring they are trained, motivated and excel in customer service. With 34 years’ experience in the battery industry, Paul was tutored by the Managing Director’s Grandfather and Father and works to ensure that the very best advice is given to all customers.

 

 

EXTERNAL SALES

 

Chris North - Sales Director

CHRIS NORTH – SALES DIRECTOR

 

Chris’s responsibilities include developing existing accounts and building new business relationships. With 26 years of experience working in the battery industry Chris is an experienced sales professional with his working life having been spent in the wholesale industry.

 

 

Justine Brain - Area Account Manager

JUSTINE BRAIN - AREA ACCOUNT MANAGER

 

Justine has particular expertise in the Marine and Leisure industries and a background in account management. She is responsible for developing existing accounts, building new business relationships and managing and processing orders.

 

 

Alex Beesley - Golf Sales Manager

ALEX BEESLEY – GOLF SALES MANAGER

 

Alex has 25 years’ experience in sales, with 12 years spent working within the golf industry. He has placed golf products and golf service solutions into golf clubs, pro shops, golf retailers and distributors. He is skilled in both developing existing accounts and building new business relationships.

 

 

INTERNAL ACCOUNT MANAGERS/TELESALES

 

Dave Wallace - National Sales Manager

DAVE WALLACE – NATIONAL SALES MANAGER

 

Dave is responsible for managing, maintaining and increasing sales whilst building new and existing business relationships, plus managing a team of Internal Account managers. He has an extensive sales background stretching over 12 years in both B2B & B2C industries, helping him to provide the highest level of technical support and customer service. Dave is our in-house Product Specialist in the Golf and Motorbike sector.

 

Ashlee Gardner - Internal Account Manager

ASHLEE GARDNER – INTERNAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

 

Ashlee’s responsibilities include sales, building business relationships, processing orders and providing quality customer advise, Ashlee is also our Health and Safety Officer. With previous experience in Sales, Ashlee has worked mainly in B2B businesses. Ashlee is our in-house Product Specialist in the Security and UPS sector

 

 

Jordan Drew - Internal Account manager

JORDAN DREW – INTERNAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

 

Jordan has previous experience gained in the recruitment sector. Jordan is responsible for building and maintaining new and existing client relationships, processing and managing orders and providing customers with the best possible service and battery advice. Jordan is our in-house Product Specialist in the Canal Boat & Marine sector.

 

 

Jennifer Williams - Internal Account ManagerJENNIFER WILLIAMS – INTERNAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

As part of the sales team Jennifer’s responsibilities include building new business relationships, maintaining existing client relationships, checking stock levels, processing orders and answering any queries customers may have. Jennifer has previous experience as a warehouse operative as well as in data entry and manufacturing.

 

 

MARKETING

 

Vanessa Human - Marketing Manager

VANESSA HUMAN - MARKETING DIRECTOR

 

Vanessa heads the Marketing team at DBS and oversees both digital and traditional Marketing including strategic development, campaign planning, branding, communications, agency management, creative direction, promotions and initiatives to support Sales. Vanessa has a BA (hons) degree in Marketing with French in addition to over 20 years Marketing, brand and sales management experience in European and international B2B organisations.

 

OPERATIONS

 

Jayne Blackwell - Office Manager

JAYNE BLACKWELL – OPERATIONS MANAGER

 

Jayne has a wealth of experience in office administration and supervisor roles in both the UK and overseas. She has worked across various sectors and as a company secretary for the family business. Her responsibilities include, overseeing the warehouse, operations and the daily running of the office.

 

Mark Wood - Operations Manager

MARK WOOD - STOCK MANAGER

 

Mark is responsible for overseeing orders and ensuring stock levels are maintained. Mark has an extensive operational background stretching over 13 years, having previously worked for manufacturing organisations and in materials control.

 

 

FINANCE

 

Kevin Richards - Finance Director

KEVIN RICHARDS - FINANCE DIRECTOR

 

Kevin is responsible for heading the finance team, financial operations, financial planning and forecasting. He is a qualified accountant with 34 years of experience and prior to working at DBS Energy has had multiple directorships. Kevin is also a Practitioner of Managing Successful Programmes and a Company Secretary and Business Excellence Coach.
